Evelyn Rebecca Becky Perrone, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on September 9, 2010 at Lakewood Quarters Rehabilitaion Nursing Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Becky was born on February 16, 1931 at the Watrous Homestead in Mystic, Connecticut, where she grew up. At the age of 22, she married her sweetheart, Salvatore Perrone, and they began their lives together. She and her husband live in Merritt Island, Florida from 1956 until 1989 when they moved to Baker, Louisiana where she lived the remainder of her life. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker and a positive influence in the lives of her family and friends. Those who knew Becky knew she enjoyed the simple things lovely flowers, spending time with her family, doting on her grandchildren and sipping coffee with close friends. Visiting will be at Bethany World Prayer Center North in Baker on Monday, September 13, 2010 from 9am until a memorial service at 11am. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Salvatore Perrone 3 daughters, Rosemary Anderson and husband, Jimmy Cassandra Ross and husband, Herman Lee and Patricia Henriott and husband, Jon 1 son, Joseph Perrone and wife Kathleen 3 sisters, Delight Allen, Hope Bowman and Linda Dobbert 1 brother, Palmer Watrous. She was preceded in death by her parents, Palmer and Alice Watrous and her mother Bessie Watrous, who died shortly after Beckys birth, and 1 brother, Stephen Watrous.
