A native of Sunshine, she passed away at 3:55 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at her home in Walker. She was 82, born July 29, 1930. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Friday, Dec. 14, from 9:30 a.m. until service at 11:30 a.m., conducted by Chaplain Chris Roussell. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her husband, Jake Moran daughters, Linda Hoyt Tillman and husband Charles Sr., of Baton Rouge, and Sandra Hoyt Landry, of Breaux Bridge son, Herbert E. Hoyt and wife Carol, of Denham Springs stepchildren, Rebecca Holmes, Debbie Chenevert and husband Jerry, and Jason Moran, all of Baton Rouge, and Charles Moran, of Orange Beach, Ala. sisters, Norma Scott Buxton and husband Ray, of Baton Rouge, Rose Mary Scott Guidry and husband Claude, of Baton Rouge and Gracie Scott Haggard and husband Donald, of Albany brothers, Joe Scott, of New Roads, Gene Scott and Ken Scott and wife Mackie, all of Baton Rouge and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by his a daughter, Diane Hoyt Starns soninlaw, Neil Landry Jr. father, Joseph Scott mother, Mathilde Scott brother, Jerry Scott and sister, Sharon Scott. Honorary pallbearers are Dylan Slinker and Layton Slinker. Pallbearers will be Terry Slinker, Raymond Slinker, Justin Slinker, Jeffery Tillman, Blake Hoyt and Charles Moran. A special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice for taking care of her while she was ill.
