Evelyn Hutchinson

Evelyn Grace George Hutchinson, a native of Independence, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the age of 80. A devoted mother, grandmother and friend that had a vivacious spirit and was an inspiration to all who knew her. Evelyn loved life. She enjoyed painting, gardening, cooking, music, spending time with her family, all of her grandchildren and her beloved pets. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She had retired from Louisiana National Bank and was the first smiling face you would see when entering the Trust Dept. Survived by her three daughters, Vickie Hutchinson, Susan Hutchinson, and Judy Hutchinson Tunnard and husband Duke sister, Genevieve George Luke brother, Burnell George seven grandchildren, Jackson and Lara Grace Wilson, Elizabeth, Adam, Michael and Nicholas Pitts and Tommy Albin Roy IV. Preceded in death by her parents, Newman and Victoria George, and husband, Delmas Hutchinson, MD. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Tuesday, May 14, 2014 from 12 noon until funeral service at 2 pm officiated by Peter Hutchinson. Pallbearers will include, Jackson Wilson, Duke Tunnard, Adam, Michael, Nicholas Pitts and Ryan Luke and Honorary Pallbearer, Mr. Fred Mayeux. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
