weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalms 30:5
At the beginning of this season of joy, morning broke for Eva Mae Daniel Harvey when she passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Peter Ivey Harvey and their only child Rhonda Evalyn Harvey. She is also survived by her sister Ida Lee Jo Allen whom she loved dearly. She was adored by her numerous nieces and nephews. In her last days her nephew Donald Simmons and wife Chong Ok Simmons, and niece Amy Hamilton were vigilant visitors. Niece Patricia Hofmeyer, greatnephew David Hofmeyer , nephew Randy Allen eased her concerns by seeing to the needs of their Uncle Pete. She was a 1948 graduate of Louisiana State University. Leaving a legacy of learning she taught school for 30 years in Gonzales in Ascension Parish. She was a charter member of Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa International Society of Women Educators.
