Eusebio Figueredo Batista

Eusebio Figueredo Batista, born on December 15, 1929, passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 94.

Eusebio was born in Las Tunas, Cuba, to Hipolito Figueredo and Emelina Batista. He was a farmer who grew numerous crops, and was also passionate about politics. 

Eusebio is survived by his wife of 72 years, Aracelis E. Figueredo Aguilera; daughters, Dani Figueredo, Damaris Figueredo, and Deisi Figueredo; son, Golber E. Figueredo; sister, Ebliserio Figueredo; grandchildren, Yamilet Figueredo, Julio Alvarado, Yoelvis Alvarado, Youry Lazo, Yordani Lazo, Litzan Reyes, Kevin Reyes, Leydis Figueredo, Yesenia Figueredo, and Andy Oramas; great-grandchildren, Anthony Terry-Rojas, Gabrielle Terry-Rojas, Melany Alvarado, Emily Alvarado, Bryan Alvarado, Anthony Alvarado, Fabian Alvarado, Isabella Lazo, Youry Junior Lazo, Cole Reyes, Reiden Reyes, Aubrie Reyes, Aurora Oramas, Amelia Oramas, Adine G. Butler, and Cataleya Aydell. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hipolito Figueredo and Emelina Batista; daughter, Deiris Figueredo; sister, Ana Figueredo; and brothers, Felix, Manuel, Miguel, and Manolito Figueredo. 

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, August 17, 2024, beginning at 1:30 PM until services at 3:30 PM.
