A retired U.S. Postal Service employee and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 2:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. He was 80, a native of Chicago and a U.S. Navy veteran. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 29, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Bass. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife, Bettie Deane Dunetz; daughter, Linda Ansley-Noland and husband David; son, Daniel Dunetz and wife Debbie; three grandchildren, Chris Ansley and wife Sandra, Kevin Ansley, and Danielle Martin and friend Kyle Kennison; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Ida Dunetz; and in-laws, Clifford and Adeline Deane. Special thanks to Dr. Castine, Dr. Barber and staff, Ollie Steele Burden Manor and Hospice of Baton Rouge. He was a member of AARP Chapter 1069.
