Ethel George

Mrs. Novella George passed away in her home on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the age of 89. A former resident of Baton Rouge and a resident of Hammond, Louisiana and native of Liberty, Mississippi. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, April 20, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visiting resumes on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 10 a.m. until service at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Leon Dunn and Rev. Ron Lamb. Interment will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by one daughter, Penny George two sons: Charles George and wife, Jane, Clifton George and wife, Cheryl soninlaw, Joe Centofanti one sister, Rose Finch seven grandchildren, Andrea Centofanti, Elizabeth C. Landry, Allison Freeman, Andrew George, Justin George, Jason George, Jill Byrd and 12 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husbands, Gerald George and Jule George four sisters: Anna Dora Caston, Velma Roberts, Elizabeth Hilbun and Hazel Roberts four brothers: W.L. Roberts, Norwood Roberts, Joe Roberts and Norman Roberts. She was a member of Istrouma Baptist Church.
