A homemaker and native of Independence, she died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at her home in Central. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, March 18, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow. Survived by her husband of 63 years, Cleo Calmes sons, Larry Calmes, and Robert Calmes and wife Dianne and four grandchildren, Jason, Kevin, Kathryn and Allen Calmes. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert Bob and Clara Cappe and two sisters, Mildred Cappe and Gloria Misita.
