Esther Cornelius

A resident of Baton Rouge and member of Istrouma Baptist Church, Carolyn was born Aug. 24, 1942. She died at home Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at age 68. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Sonny Cornelius, Baton Rouge mother, Willie Zell Williams, Baton Rouge daughter, Danette Allen, Baton Rouge son, Danny Campbell and his wife, Stacy, of Grosse Tete and her son, Dennis Davis and his wife, Ruby, of Prairieville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandon Clark, Michael Campbell, Shea Bujol and her husband, Dustin, Mason Davis, Reed Davis and Addison Davis. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Williams brother, Wayne Williams and grandson, Sean Clark. Visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 25, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Ron Lambe, of Istrouma Baptist Church.
