Eric, though short in stature, was larger than life as a man. Eric often forgot and didn’t know just how special, important and loved he was. He didn’t know how valuable he was; and the gem and the light of life that he gave this world. Never the less, Eric saw the world without color, culture or ethnicity. He loved his family and friends deeply and dearly- more than he loved himself. Eric never met a stranger and was proud of each and every one of his friends and family. He was honored and proud to be a part of their lives and being accepted as an equal.
If someone hurt- Eric hurt and would be there for them, in whatever manner he could. Eric always made time; the clock was invisible to Eric if he needed to give support. Eric was the life of every gathering; telling stories, providing laughs and gaining smiles through his love. Eric’s favorite things, amongst his love for his family, friends and community (which he committed himself to for the good and unity of his fellow citizens), includes cruising around checking on everyone. Eric loved cars and enjoyed singing, rapping and listening to all genres of music on his headphones. For every stumble he had, he tried desperately to make it up. Eric had a heart of gold. This world will never be the same without him. Though gone, Eric will never be forgotten. Eric will be missed and always loved and appreciated.
A very special thanks and acknowledgement to some of Eric’s closest and dearest loved ones, who he considered to be family, but not limited to; Lisa and Kiah Cabulagan, The entire Neal family, especially “Pops”, Mommy and Kenny; Eddie Money, John Riordan and band, Kris Perret, Heath Lytell, Michael and Candace Browning, Johnny DeArmond, E. Eric Guirard, Jeremy Martin, and Carmen and Ariel Carothers.
