Enola Chauvin Sanchez Mrs. Roy J. Sanchez, 98, born on June 30, 1915, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 6:18 A.M. She was a loving mother, wife and a devout Catholic and member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Enola and her husband Roy enjoyed many years traveling for LSU games and RVing throughout the United States. She is survived by her five children, Sandra S. Lindsay Louis, Roland J. Sanchez Nancy, Dorothy S. Gauthier Emmitt, Ethel S. Luckett Mike, and Allan R. Sanchez Robin grandchildren, Allison Lindsay Traxler Jon, Christopher C. Lindsay Natalie, Stephanie Sanchez Camp Richard, Julie A Gauthier Dallas Felder, Jacob P. Gauthier Marikatherine, Adam Zittrauer Paige, Jacques A. Gauthier, Dr. Erick R. Sanchez Stephanie, Ruston Sanchez, Austin Zittrauer, and Jordan Gauthier greatgrandchildren, to Eden, Emma, Wesley, Sadie, Caroline, Ava, Grey, Hayden, Charlie, Mason, Adeline, and Anna Katherine sister, Ruby C. Loupe J.P. and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband who predeceased her in 2005 Roy J. Sanchez parents, John and Laura Roussell Chauvin brothers, John and Wilbert sister, Ethel grandsoninlaw, Christopher Callegan and greatgrandchild, Samuel Roy Lindsay. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am celebrated by Fr. Cleo Milano, Fr. Miles Walsh and Fr. Vic Messina. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and Honorary Pallbearers will include Richard Camp, Jon Traxler, Dallas Felder, Louis R. Lindsay, Emmett P. Gauthier, and Mike Luckett. The family would like to especially thank her faithful caregiver of four years, Ms. Carol Harrison, who loved her like a mother and to Cheylonda Cooper, Shantrell Brown and the loving care of everyone from The Baton Rouge Hospice, especially Jill Rehn. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made to the Our Lady of Mercy Chapter of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Resthaven Gardens of Memory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
