A resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012, at the age of 93. Born to Garnet Dawson and Mary Mildred Coffell on November 22, 1919, in Wheatley, Ontario, Canada. Enid was forced to leave high school during the Great Depression to work for her familys benefit. In her adult life, Enid joined the telephone company as a telephone operator. This was back in the day when we heard the operator say, Number please when we picked up our phone. Enid lived her retirement years in Zephyrhills, FL, where all her friends now reside. Enid is survived by her son, James Todd McLean and wife, Dianne of Baton Rouge granddaughter, Kathy Anderson of Whitby, Ontario, Canada grandsons, James Allan and Alexander McLean of Houston, TX and greatgrandchildren: Madeline and Connor McLean Houston, TX and Billy and Jenna Anderson Whitby, Ontario, Canada. Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Sielaff brothers: Eugene and Ken and her sister, Lois. Services will be held in Zephyrhills, FL in January. Afterwards, she will be interred beside her late husband, Henry at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
