Born in Mamou on May 30, 1922, she went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011. She was an avid gardener and terrific cook. She was retired from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development with 25 years service. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m., with her great nephew, the Rev. J. P. Cox, officiating. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her daughter, Gwen BachStewart her granddaughter and her husband, Jennifer Stewart and Robbie Gore and three greatgrandchildren, Victoria, Craig and Alexandra Gore, all of Livingston. Other survivors include a sisterinlaw, Rena Brunet, of Eunice and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert H. Bach her parents, Regina Fuselier and Avey Coco Brunet her brothers, Willard Joseph and Philip Joffery Brunet and her sister, Deola Clark. Pallbearers will be her greatgrandson, Craig Gore, and greatnephews, Travis Cox, Paul LeJeune, Kevin Leonards, James Leonards and Christopher Leonards. Honorary pallbearers are Brian LeJeune and Jonathon Brunet. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Alzheimers Service of the Capital Area, 3772 North Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
