Elsie Lilly

A retired practical and private duty nurse, she died at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at Old Jefferson Community Care. She was 88 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, Nov. 15, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes Tuesday in the chapel from 1 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a son and daughterinlaw, John H. and Mary H. Lilly two cousins, Jewel Delaune Lea and June Clayton niece, Jennifer Ruppert and husband Gene and grandson, Reuben J. Lilly. Preceded in death by her husband, Holloway Lilly parents, John and Cleona Cambre Clayton and sister, Margarite Clayton Jenkins. The family would like to thank the staff at Old Jefferson Community Care and Cardinal Hospice for the care they gave to Miss Elsie. Your care and love for her will always be remembered.
