Elmo Wakefield Savell

Elmo Wakefield Savell, went to his eternal rest on August 24, 2024, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the age of 74. Elmo retired from Exxon Mobil after 40 years of service. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Vicki Page Savell; his 3 children, Sheila Savell Tibbetts and her husband Craig, Lisa Savell Gremillion and her husband Bradley, Steven Elmo Savell and his wife Michelle; his 8 grandchildren: Steven Tyler Savell, Savannah Esteve Morreale, Aldyn Paige Gremillion, Reese Savell Gremillion, Maggie Grace Savell, Matthew Edward Savell, Stephen Chase Tibbetts, and Clacey Re’Ann Tibbetts; his siblings, Conway and Constance. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Keiek Savell and his father Elmo Burl Savell. 

The family would like to thank his caregiver, Bonnie Joubert, and the nurses of St. Joseph Hospice, Tee, Jamie and Melissa.

A Memorial Service will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816 on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
