Ella S. Romantino

Ella S. Romantino, 89, native of Ruleville, MS and resident of Denham Springs passed away on July 8, 2015.

Ella enjoyed fishing, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Curtis and Cathy Hatcher, Hope and Gilbert Vincent, Bobby Hatcher, Johnny and Susan Hatcher, Diana and Don Welch, Syble and Darryl Clark, and Gale Brooks; 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.

Ella is preceded in death by her husbands, E.A. Hatcher, Tanner Lee Abney, and Albert H. Romantino; children, Jerel Hatcher, and Mitchell Abney; 3 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge.

Pallbearers will be Jacque Courville, Darryl Clark, Jay Hatcher, Shayde Johnson, Tommy Elliot, and Richie Ginn.

The family wishes to extend their special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice caregivers, Megan, Eva, Jackie, Kendra, and Bernice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ella Romantino's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
