Elizabeth Vicknair

Elizabeth Freda Madere Vicknair, native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 23, 2014. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Elizabeth was a member of St. Louis King of France Catholic Church, KC, and UCT, Alter Society, and Catholic Daughters.

She is survived by her husband, Valsin Pete Vicknair daughter, DWanda Thomas son, Anthony Vicknair grandchildren, Ashley Thomas Woods and Victoria Paige Thomas greatgrandchildren, Dylan Woods and Adalyn Woods and brothers, Lee Madere and wife Kathy and Charles and Susan Madere of Anahein, CA. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her son, Kirk Joseph Vicknair parents, Fernand and Marie Madere sisters, Frances Madere, Grace Madere, Helen Madere, Dorothy Madere Morrison, Betty Madere McCormick, and Theresa Madere Schexnaydre.

Visiting will be observed at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
