Elizabeth Rizzuto

Elizabeth Mondello Rizzuto, a native of Powhatan, La and resident of Baton Rouge, La, passed away on Wednesday, June 06, 2012 at the age of 82. She is survived by her sons, Patrick and Michael Hoormann stepsons, Mark, Ken, and David Rizzuto 18 grandchildren eight greatgrandchildren sisters, Corrine Palermo, Marie Cutrer, Joanne Mayeaux, Margaret Sanchez and brother, Charlie Mondello. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mercurio Buddy Rizzuto her parents, John and Theresa Gulino Mondello and brother, Frank Sonny Mondello. As a retired bookkeeper for WDSU she was a lifelong resident of Louisiana, living in New Orleans and, Abita Springs, and most recently Amber Terrace Assisted Living in Baton Rouge. A visitation will be held at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 8 am until Mass of Christian burial at 10 am.
