Elizabeth Ann Harris, born Oct. 7, 1939 passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She fought a long hard battle with cancer before going to live with our Savior. Ann was born in Memphis, TN and spent her childhood in Earle, AR.
She was a long time resident of Baker, LA where she was active with Little League baseball and the Baker Athletic Boosters. She and her husband of 57 years had recently moved to Gonzales, LA to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Ann worked as an accountant until she retired. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen sharing her family recipes with her grandchildren.
Ann is survived by her loving husband, Ronald L. Harris daughter, Anita Hebert and husband Tab son, Eddie Harris and wife Kim four grandchildren, Ashton Camper, Thomas Camper, Austin Harris and Zach Harris and two brothers, Clearon Wright, Jr. and wife Jane and Ronald Wright and wife Kathy. Preceded in death by her parents, Clearon, Sr. and Daisy Baker Wright. Anns remains will be cremated. A memorial service will be held June 7th at a family residence.
