Elizabeth Barber

Elizabeth was born on October 18, 1931 and died on January 2, 2014. She was a native of east central Mississippi and a resident of St. Francisville, Louisiana. For sixty two years she was a faithful and loving wife to Roland and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her life was devoted to her family and her church. During her active years, she taught children in church and served as the church organist. She is survived by her husband, three children, six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Daughter, Lynn Wood and her husband Rob, her son, Patrick Rexrode and wife Melissa Turner, her daughter, Kathryn and her husband Dr. Ty Nichols, and sons Asher and Ezekial Nichols. Son, Lee Barber, his daughter Hedda Elias, husband Noe Elias, and daughter Nina Simone Elias. His son Wells Barber. Daughter, Robin Marshall and her fianc, Dennis Harrison. Her daughter, Skye Willis and husband Danny Willis. Their children, Lexie Auxt, Xave, Blakely, Jon David, and Sam Willis. Her sons wife, Katie Walters and her daughters, Gracie and Aubrie Walters. Her son, Andy Roberts and companion Angie Kozlik. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Nester, her mother, Grace McCormick, and her grandson Zac Walters. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, Monday, January 6, 2014 at 9 am until service beginning at 11 am.
