Elaine Porche

Elaine Daigle Porche 76, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on October 19, 2018. She was born December 15, 1941 in Houma, Louisiana to Albert Joseph and Victoire Theriot Daigle. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, her family and dancing and singing around the kitchen. After 22 years Elaine retired from the Inter-Tribal Council of Louisiana. Elaine is survived by her children, Annette Porche Thompson (Charlie), Patricia Porche Penton, Arthur Leslie Porche Jr. (Rhonda), and Jennifer Porche Cowzer; seven grandchildren, Kyle Thompson, Katie Thompson, Christopher Penton, Maggie Penton, Cody Porche, Nathan Cowzer, and Ryan Cowzer; one great grandchild and one sister, Susan Daigle Thibodaux (James) and Special Friend Leroy Button.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Leslie Porche Sr., parents, Albert Joseph and Victoire Theriot Daigle, and sister Jean Daigle Lasseigne.

Visitation will be held at St. Jean Vianney Church, 16166 S. Harrells Ferry Road on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Mass will begin at 2:00 pm.  Interment will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Leslie Porche, Cody Porche, Chris Penton, and Zack Battistella. Honorary Pallbearers, Nathan Cowzer and Ryan Cowzer.
