Elaine Bazile

Elaine Bazile passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the age of 61. Born in St. Francisville, La to mother, Mattie Sharper. Adopted as a toddler by the late Pauline and Filton Bazile and raised in New Orleans, La. After hurricane Katrina, Baton Rouge, La became her home.

Elaine is survived by one beloved son, Damian A. Mayho of New Orleans, La natural mother, Mattie S. Floyd siblings, Valerie, Jackie, Tina, Karen, Patricia, Matthew and Michael grandchildren, Teara, Paul Jr., Dasia, and Damian DJ Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. She also leaves behind her personal friend of 20 plus years, Mr. Byron L. Humphrey.

She is preceded in death by her adopted parents, her beloved son, Paul C. Bazile siblings, Larry, Howard, and Leon.

Visitation will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 9:00 am until religious services at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
