Edward Johnson

Edward Eugene Johnson Gene
native of Albany and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the age of 77. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was employed by Pipefitters Local 198 for over 30 years. Gene loved his family, hunting, and he was a member of Maranatha Fellowship for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Patsy Johnson sons, Johnny Eugene Johnson and wife Becky, and Troy Edward Johnson and Rhonda grandchildren, Morgan, Matthew, Patrick, Nicholas, and Emily Johnson sisters, Jeanette, Annette, and Kathy, and brother, Ray Johnson. Gene is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Cloe Johnson and brother, Jessie Alton Johnson.

Visiting hours will be observed at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visiting will resume on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Resthaven Funeral Home from 10:00 am until service time.
