Edward Foster

Edward Allen Foster, age 66, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on December 8, 2015.

Edward was the proud owner/president of Gulf Coast Aerial Mapping Company Inc. and Ace Aerial for over 30 years. He was also an avid golfer and fisherman, and enjoyed boating and vacationing with his wife. Edward was a loving Father to his sons and Paw Paw to his grandchildren.

Edward is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kathleen Ann Emick Foster; his sons, Todd Christopher Foster and Kenneth Edward Foster and wife, Amee' Guillot Foster; his grandchildren, Jacob Foster, Gracie Foster, Haley Foster, Chloe' Foster, and Phoebe Foster; his sister, Kathleen Foster Dietrich and husband, Roger; and his spoiled shitzu, Annabelle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kathleen (Kay) Love Foster and Christopher Ralph Foster.

Visiting hours will be observed on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 9:00 AM until the time of services.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:00 AM, officiant will be Pastor Ken Spivey of Healing Place Church.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Todd Foster, Kenneth Foster, Frederick Dietrich, godson and Gary Emick, brother-in-law.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to The Hospice of Baton Rouge, Nurse, Lisa Comeaux, Dr. Guido DeJesus and staff. They also wish to thank Dr. Hanson and the staff at Mary Bird Perkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Edward Foster's name to Healing Place Church Cancer Ministry.
