Edna Wilson

Edna Wilson, age 92, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016. She was born on August 7, 1923 in Clifton, TX.

Edna is survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Wilson Lea and Jennifer Bent of Lyme Center, NH, Georgia Busby and Stuart of New Orleans, LA, Margaret Mishin and Dennis of Seattle, WA; great-grandchildren, Sophie Lea, Isobel Bent, Josephine and Harrison Busby, and Arthur Mishin; brothers, Jack and Don; and sisters, Alma, Helen, Doris, Betty-Jean, and Ruthy.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wilson; son, Kenneth "Kenny" Wilson Jr.; daughter, Annette Wilson; parents, Andrew and Josephine Kanz; brothers, Bobby and Joe; and sister, Bea.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at First United Methodist Church, 930 North Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70802, from 11:00 am until services at 12:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
