Edna Lunde Tandberg passed away on the morning of her 94th birthday, March 14, 2012. She had attended school in Leeds, ND, and graduated from high school in Baker, ND. As a housewife and mother, she was particularly skilled in sewing and crocheting, and she loved to decorate for every holiday possible. Many will remember her attendance at various bingo games throughout the area. Her last years were spent in Baton Rouge where she lived at Whealdon Estates and Heritage House. She is survived by her only child and soninlaw, Gerilyn Tandberg and Maurice Berger, and several nieces and nephews including Elaine Peterick and Jill Quale of Minnesota, Gwen Bell of Arkansas, James Lunde of Washington and Roger Lunde of New York. She is preceded in death by her husband, Otto Tandberg parents, Emil and Christina Lunde four brothers, Clifford, Edward, Jalmar, and Alvin Lunde and one sister, Gladys Erickson. Visitation will be held at the Nelson Funeral Home in Leeds, North Dakota, on Tuesday, March 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Leeds Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, followed by the burial in the Leeds Lutheran Cemetery.
