Edmund Marts

Edmund Marts, age 85, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on March 6, 2016.

Edmund was in the Air Force and served in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cheryl Marts; his two daughters, Dana Schlotterer and husband, Dean, and Gay Fallon and husband, Bill; his son, Edward Marts and wife, Lisa; his seven grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Eva Marts; his two brothers; and his two sisters.

Visiting hours will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on March 9, 2016, from 1:00 PM until funeral services at 3:00 PM.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Fidelis Residential Care Group, Dolores Quezada, Pam and Hattie Ramsey, Aydelle McMillian and the Staff of St. Joseph Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edmund's name to St. Joseph Hospice, 10615 Jefferson Highway.
