He was 59 years old of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on July 5, 2016 at his home, surrounded and loved by all who knew him. Bubba was born on June 20, 1957 to Patricia "Pat" Nugent Boucher and the late Edmond E. "Ed" Boucher, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his father Ed Boucher, grandfathers and grandmothers, Clayton D. Nugent, Sr. and Altha Elaine Nugent, and Edmond X. and Emelia Arsenault Boucher; his lifelong girlfriend, Marla Morris; and several beloved uncles and aunts.
He is survived by his mother, Pat Boucher; sister, Karen Boucher Guidry and her husband, Edward Guidry; brother, Ronald M. Boucher and his wife, Suzanne "Suzie" Boucher; nieces, Shannon Parker, Shawn Willamson , Megan Williamson and significant other, Gary LaCroix, Alycia, Brittany, and Brianna Boucher; nephew, Edmond E. Boucher III "Trey"; great-nieces and nephews, Matt, Joe and Emma Baker, Khamren and Kholbie Nethery, Khayden and Branden LaCroix, and BJ Ramage; his great-great-nephew, Remi Millet; and his aunt, Rosemary Nugent.
Bubba was a member of the Roadrunners and Special Olympics where he participated and medaled in bowling, swimming, and track and field events. He worked for many years at the Sheltered Workshop on Prescott Rd. Bubba loved to dance, loved his circle-a-word puzzles, watching TV, and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid LSU and Saints Fan.
Visiting hours will take place on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, from 1:00 PM until service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
