Edith Lefebvre

January 20, 1926 — November 23, 2013

Edith Delacroix Lefebvre, 87, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at her home. A native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Edith graduated from Our Lady of the Lake School of Nursing. She served as a Registered Nurse and also was a United States Cadet Nurse. She attended St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church for many years and is a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Edith is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Lefebvre, Jr., celebrating 65 years of a great love affair five daughters, Katie Lefebvre, Juliette Dean, Mary Loupe and husband Mark, Yvette Schittone and husband Don, and Therese Atwell and husband Gordon four sons, Ray Lefebvre, Tom Lefebvre and wife Susan, John Lefebvre and wife Eve, and Chris Lefebvre and wife Annalisa 21 grandchildren and 24 greatgrandchildren sister, Molly Olds and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, George A. and Mary D. Delacroix, and brother, George Delacroix. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 5 pm to 7:30 pm and will resume on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy., from 9:30 am until funeral service at 11 am.
