To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die. Thomas Campbell. Eddie passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was 55. Visitation at Broadmoor United Methodist Church on Monday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m. Eddie is survived by his wife, Janet Lyon Anderson a daughter, Rachel Klein and husband Chase a son, Evan Anderson parents, Eddie and Yvonne Anderson sister, Laura Harvey and husband Mike sister, Angela Anderson and partner Doug Spielberg niece and nephews, Jason Anderson, Sean Anderson, David Dickerson and Ashleigh Fuller and his little dog and constant companion, Libby. He was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Anderson and his grandparents, DeVaugh and Gladys Riggs, and A.C. and Meryl Anderson. Eddie graduated from Tulane University and LSU Law School. He enjoyed being a sole practitioner for years before taking on the role as insurance defense attorney for Allstate where he worked for 23 years. He had a great love for reading, camping, hiking and was very devoted to his family and friends. He was best known for having a kind word and letting others know how much he cared. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
