Earl P. Brouillette

Earl Paul Brouillette, 93 years old, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024.  He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Robert and Alma Brouillette on October 10, 1930.  Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for his family and friends.  Earl was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved.  Earl’s family meant more to him than anything else in the world.  His passion for growing up and living in New Orleans was always told through his unending stories to anyone who would listen.

Anyone who knew him knew that he was the most loving husband, father, and grandfather a family could ask for.  Earl is survived by his two sons, Tim Brouillette (Ronaele) and David Brouillette; daughter, Melinda Brouillette James; granddaughters, Brittany Meche Townsend (Kyle), Natalie Brouillette Sepulvado (Clint), Brooke Brouillette Martin (Richard), and Jamie Meche; his eight great-grandchildren, who simply adored him; his half-brother, Gary Brouillette; and numerous nieces and nephews.   

Earl was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Margaret Ellen Drew Brouillette; grandsons, Brandon Paul Brouillette, the son of David and Deborah, and Neal David Brouillette, the son of Tim and Ronaele.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.  Inurnment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
