Dudley Babin

Dudley Dennis Babin, 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Dudley was a remarkable and loving Christian, husband, father and grandfather. He was a resident of Baton Rouge, LA and a native of White Castle, LA. Dudley was a veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanie Babin sisters, Marion B. Anderson and Lorraine White brothers, Patrick G. Babin and Clyde A. Babin stepsons, Billy W. Mizell and Dewey L. Mizell and wife Sheila stepdaughters, Nelda F. Stanley and husband Bill and Jennie O. Schexnayder 17 grandchildren 18 greatgrandchildren and 5 greatgreat grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents sister, Audrey Boyd beloved granddaughter, Lorie Brashier first wife, Leila Babin and stepson, Dave Mizell. A memorial service will be held at Jefferson Baptist Church, 9135 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA 70809 on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10 am conducted by Dr. David Goza.
