A pipefitter and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, in Denham Springs. He was 40 and a U.S. Navy veteran. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Mitch Harris. Graveside service at Social Springs Cemetery, Coushatta, on Thursday at noon, conducted by Marvin Burkett. Survived by his father and mother, James W. and Patsy Lowrey; daughter, Kaitlin Lowrey; son, Duncan Lowrey; sister and brother-in-law, Donna Faye and Dan Masula; brother, Daniel J. Lowrey; nieces and nephews, Caleb, Alyssa, Owen, Gabriel and Margo; and fiance, Katie Hart. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
