Dorris Morales

Dorris Morales, age 86, who was a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Old Jefferson Community Care Center.

She was a dedicated companion throughout her husband's military career. Dorris was a member of the Eastern Star, choir member, and Sunday school teacher for Airline Baptist Church. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.

Dorris is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Julio Morales; daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Allen Eschette; son and daughter-in-law, Juan and Kathleen Morales; daughter-in-law, Jolynn Morales; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Edward "Nerlie" and Gail Boling.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Mary Boling; and son, Bruce Morales.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 2:00 PM, officiated by Dr. Harold Mosley and staff.

Interment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to Airline Baptist Church, 421 N. Lester Ave, Metairie, LA 70003.
