Dorothy B. Roberts Watson, 92, of Bude, MS, passed away on August 14, 2022. Born to Jesse B. Berryman, Sr. and Nola Holcomb Berryman in Monroe County, MS, she moved to Baton Rouge, retired from the Louisiana Department of Labor, and returned to Mississippi. She was a member of Meadville Baptist Church and an avid reader who loved to travel abroad, tend to her flowers, and spend time with her family. Dot was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Leonard E. Roberts, and grandparents Robert Wesley Holcomb and Frances Parilee Cooper Holcomb. She is survived by her husband, Raymond T. Watson of Bude, MS, daughter Beverly E. Nichols (Noel) of Amory, MS, son John L. Roberts, Sr. (Sarah) of Denham Springs, LA, brother Jesse B. Berryman, Jr. (Guilene) of Nettleton, MS, stepdaughters Wendy Watson Aymond (Jay) and Tuesday Watson Gray (Darren), four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at noon on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge, LA until time of service at 1:00pm. Rev. Keith Smith will officiate, and pallbearers will be John Roberts, II., Clint Roberts, Darren Gray, John Gray, Darrell Prejean, and Tyler Scott. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association at P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-60111. The family would like to thank the counselors, clergy and staff at The Claiborne at McComb Nursing Home for their kindness and care.
