Dorothy Alice Schiro

Dorothy Alice Clough Schiro passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at the age of 68.  Alice was a loving mother and a devoted Christian.  Alice is survived by her son, Thomas Schiro of Baton Rouge; brother, Alan Clough of Memphis, TN; her beloved dogs, Fred and Maddie; and her devoted friends, Loraine Hurst, Chris and Carmen LeBourgeois, Judy DiGiovanni, Randy and Bridget Link, and Lynn McCain among others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cameron Clough and Aileen Allgood. 

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 9 a.m. until Memorial Service at 11 a.m. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, an organization that Alice felt very strongly about. 

The family would like to give thanks to the nurses, doctors, and staff at Baton Rouge General Hospital, and the countless others who gave and lifted her up prayers.
