Dorothy Sanders

Dot, age 81, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on June 24, 2016. Dot loved her husband and grandchildren more than anything in the world.

Dot is survived by her daughters, Tammy Ann Alexander, Barbara McDonald, and husband, Brent, and Beverly Irwin and husband, Robert; her grandchildren, Jason, Maggie, Joshua, Jessica, Ryan, Jennifer, Lanice, Darrin, Hillari, Deborah, and Pamela; her eighteen great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dolores Cryer.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Sanders; her parents, Wallace and Verna Martin; her son, Glen Ray Martin; and her sister, Doris Crafton.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Rd, Greenwell Springs, LA, from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
