Dorothy Glynn

Dorothy Jean Glynn, 79, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 1:30 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. Jean was a retired school bus driver for the East Baton Rouge Rouge Parish School Board, where she proudly provided 20 years of service. Our loving wife, mother and granny was unexpectedly called home to be with our Lord and Savior. She was an active member of St. George Catholic Church. She was loved and adored by her family and many friends. Her kindness and loving ways will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, C. J. Glynn, Sr. daughters, Lynda K. Hayden, and Rhonda G. Martin and husband Willie E. Martin sons, Steve D. Hayden, and Carlis Glynn, Jr. and wife Brenda 13 grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert Bob and Gertie Stephens sons, Randy G. Hayden, Clark C. Sharpe stepdaughter, Darlene Pruett grandson, Jace R. Hayden and brother Tommy C. Stephens. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 5 pm to 8 pm and will resume at St. George Catholic Church, 7880 St. George, Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 10:30 am until funeral service at 12:30 pm, conducted by Reverend Michael Schatzle.
