Dorothy Desalvo

Dorothy Sharon DeSalvo, beloved wife and mother, departed this world on December 14th, 2022. Sharon was born on October 1st, 1946, and was raised in New Orleans. She graduated from Fortier High School. She was a practicing court reporter before finding her true calling in life as an equine instructor and mentor to her beloved daughter, Brittany, and many other young people in Baton Rouge. She is survived by her loving husband, Vincent DeSalvo, her daughter Brittany, her son Reed, and two brothers, Gerald Dalrymple and Brent Dalrymple. Special mention should also be made that she is survived by her granddaughter, Hunter-Leigh Fremin, who she loved more than life itself.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 from 10 am – 12 pm. The service will begin at 12 pm, with burial to follow immediately.
