Dorothy Cornett

May 28, 1925 — July 26, 2008

Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord. Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek Him with all their heart. Psalm 119:1-2. Mama C or Ms. Dot was known to many while they were growing up with her children, Linda, Andy and Dennis. There were often many taken into her home just like her own children. Ms. Dot was often sought after by not only her own family, but her extended family for wisdom and encouragement. She truly loved youth and was always there to share her experience and hope to those who needed it. She will be missed dearly. She retired from PL Waller in 2005 at age 79. She lived her remaining years with her daughter and son-in-law, Linda B. and James A. Mehaffey in Baton Rouge.
