Doris Zachary

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7. Doris Watson Zachary was 94, born February 2, 1922 in Catfish Town. God's angels embraced her and took her to meet her savior on Sunday, June 26, 2016.

She is survived by daughter, Linda Frederick; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Lisa Zachary; sisters, Mildred Franks and Octavia Deen; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Zachary, Sr.; son, John Henry Zachary, Jr.; parents, Clay and Inez Watson; brother, Joseph Watson; sister, Justine Watson; and son-in-law, Joe Frederick.

Viewing will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Tuesday, June 28, from 5-8 PM and Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 8:30 AM until services at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to The Carpenter House for the love and care they showed to Doris.
