Doris Cassano

A native of Baton Rouge, she passed away at Ollie Steele Burden Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Doris was 85, and a retired school bus driver with the East Baton Rouge School System. Her greatest joy in life was the weekly visits from her children and their families every Sunday. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home 11817 Jefferson Hwy Baton Rouge, LA 70816 on Tuesday April 2, 2013 from 9:00am until services in the funeral home chapel at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by daughters Toni Brantley, Donna Lee, Terry Rasch, Susan Milton and Elaine Daroca son Ronnie Cassano sisters Mary Louise Montagnino and Antoinette Ferrara. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Cassano, son Earl Cassano, Jr., brothers Russell Macaluso and Pete Macaluso, parents Jim and Nancy Macaluso. Pall bearers will be Cody Milton, Michael Lee, Jason Riche, Aaron Ferguson, Danny Ferrara and Ricky Ballard.
