Doris Piehet

Doris Domingo "Dottie" Piehet, age 72, native of St. Bernard Parish and resident of Denham Springs, LA for the past 10 years, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015.

Dottie retired from DOTD after 28 years of employment. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Dottie is survived by her daughter, Patricia Piehet Schorr and husband Mark; sons, Alexander Thomas Piehet, III, and wife Melissa, and Anthony Piehet, Sr.; grandchildren, Mark, Natasha, Nicholas, Heather, Allie, Emily, and Anthony, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Molly, Max, Sam, George, Audrey, Bailegh, Addison, and Layla; and sister, Anna Fulmer.

She is preceded in death by husband of 19 years, Alexander Thomas Piehet, Jr.; parents, John Domingo, Sr. and Catherine Mones Domingo; one sister; and four brothers.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 10:00 AM until the time of services.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home at 2:00 PM.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
