Donna LeBlanc Honore

Donna LeBlanc Honore passed away at the age of 68 years old on Saturday February 17, 2024 at midnight. She was born February 9, 1956, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Donna was known for taking care of others. She loved cooking, hunting deer and going on cruises with her husband. For many years she worked in childcare and was able to fulfill her dream of owning her own daycare, Donna's Guardian Angel. She was very dedicated and committed to the ministries at Second Baptist Church. She was strong in her faith and worked diligently with church activities promoting Christian love and charity.

On August 21, 1972, she married the love of her life Terry John Honore Sr. Together they had two sons, TJ and Kelvin Honore. She is survived by her sons, daughter in law Ashleigh Honore, two grandchildren Lauren Elizabeth Honore, Jonathan Honore and his wife Madigan Honore, great grandson Maverick Honore; three sisters Sharon Bowers (Joseph), Brenda LeBlanc, Mia Cummings (Maurice); three brothers Ernest LeBlanc Jr, Reginald LeBlanc, and Ronald LeBlanc (Tina). As well as four godchildren Keysha Bowers Gause, Quantorica Jones, Felicia Pealer, and Danae Mason.

She is preceded in death by her husband Terry John Honore Sr, parents Ernest LeBlanc Sr, and Viola Allen LeBlanc; father-in-law Edward Honore, Sr., mother-in-law Carrean Honore, brother Rodney LeBlanc, sister Carla Gayle LeBlanc, sister-in-law Sadie LeBlanc and brother-in-law Edward Honore Jr.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care. Visitation will be at Second Baptist Church, 914 N Acadian Thruway, Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 9:00am to 11:00am. Services will begin immediately after visitation. Burial will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA.
