Donna Drago

Donna Vicknair Drago, age 57, passed away on August 17, 2016.

Donna was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mom and nana. She was a dedicated employee of Gorman Brothers for over ten years. Donna loved family vacations to the beach and enjoyed watching her sons play sports. In her recent years she truly enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and five grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude Vicknair and Doug Vicknair, Sr., and her siblings, Keith Vicknair and Shelia Runnels.

Donna is survived by her husband of 35 years, Stephen Drago; her sons, Brandon Drago and wife Nina, Travis Drago and wife Brittanie, and Cody Drago and wife Amanda; her siblings, Teri Callender, Doug Vicknair, Jr. and wife Ae; her five grandchildren, Gage, Sofia, Luca, Emilia and Resa; and her beloved dog, Dobe.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Drago, Travis Drago, Cody Drago, William P. Drago III, Rick Wall and Mike Morgan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gage and Luca.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, La 70816, on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and continuing on Friday, August 19, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 15208 LA-73, Prairieville, La. 70769, from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Serenity Oaks, 15304 LA-73, Prairieville, La. 70769.
