Donald Schittone, native and resident of Baton Rouge passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 at age 61. He worked for Manda Fine Meats as Sales Director for 17 years. Don was a member of Grace Life Fellowship Church and Red Stick Fly Fishers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Yvette Lefebvre Schittone sons, Nicholas John and Benjamin Don Schittone mother, Fannie Guzzardo Schittone fatherinlaw, Joseph Lefebvre sister, Rose Schittone Goodwin brothers, John P. Schittone, Jr. and wife Charlotte, Glenn J. Schittone and wife Jan and two grandsons, Dominic John and Luke Joseph Schittone.
Donald is preceded in death by his father, John Peter Schittone, Sr. motherinlaw, Edith D. Lefebvre brotherinlaw, John C. Goodwin and nephews, James Ron Vannoy and Evan G. Schittone.
Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will resume on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 8:30 am until funeral service at 10:00 am, conducted by Pastor Gordon Atwell and Rev. Jack Nutter. At his request, cremation will take place after the funeral service.
