A retired biochemist and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died at 12 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. He was 76, a U.S. Army veteran and a volunteer with the Alzheimers Society. Visiting at First Christian ChurchDisciples of Christ, 8484 Old Hammond Highway, on Monday, Feb. 14, from 6 p.m. until memorial service at 7 p.m., conducted by Pastor Michael Karunas. He is survived by a daughter, Carol Lartigue Rabb and husband George son, David Lartigue and wife Rebecca two sisters, Sister Beverly Lartigue and Carolyn Zu Castello brother, Robert Butch Lartigue and two grandchildren, Jonathan P. Rabb and Joseph P. Rabb. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Guillory Lartigue brother, the Rev. Pius Lartigue and sister, Gloria Lartigue Ducote. He was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
