Donald Wayne Jackson, a resident of Baton Rouge, La passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. He was 71 years old.
Donald was born August 8, 1945. He was a graduate of Istrouma High School. He spent most of his adult life working in construction, he was an insulator from the age of 18 worked his way up thru years of hard work and dedication to Supervisor.
Donald is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jennifer Sanspree; four daughters, Michelle Barrett of Denham Springs, Candice Hymel of Denham Springs, Stacey Amond of Clinton, and Shannon Jackson of Denham Springs; one son, Michael Sanders of Baton Rouge; three wonderful grandchildren, Storme Dewitt, Hudson Barrett, and Sierra Hymel which he loved dearly; his loving family member, Dana Barrett of Baton Rouge; and one brother and sister, Sidney Jackson and Sandra Bahcall, both of Baton Rouge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clem and Willie Mae Jackson.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., from 9:00 AM until services at 10:00 AM.
