Donald Clark

Donald Beecher Clark, age 78, a native of Albany, NY and a resident of Prairieville, LA went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2017 peacefully at home with his wife of 52 years at his bedside.

Donald was a teacher for 31 years, including directing two Christian Schools in upstate New York and owning and administrating a school in Prairieville, Alternative Academics Christian School, later changed to New Hope Christian Academy.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian; his daughter, Cheryl Elisar; his sons, David and wife Tamara, and Jason; his grandchildren, Stephen, Anna and Grace; and his sister, Marcia Burns.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 1:00pm until service at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
