Don A. Coppola, Sr., 61, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. He was the owner and President of Executone of Central, Louisiana for 40 plus years and also the former President of the Baton Rouge Electrical League. A member of the Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce, Associate General Contractors, Construction Specifications Institute and reigned as King Orion VI of Baton Rouge Mardi Gras Krewe. He is survived by his wife, Patricia B. Coppola sons, Don Coppola Jr. and wife Amy and Chad Coppola and wife Crystal four stepdaughters, Danielle Sule and husband Chris, Melinda Powers and husband Kirk, Stephanie Salman and Andrea Hebert brother, Roland Coppola, Jr. and wife Barbara and sister, Sheryl Blaylock and husband Paul. He also leaves behind 12 beloved grandchildren, Austin, Mark, Bryan, Chase, Tatum, Evan, Peyton, Noah, Ayden, Jordyn, Saydie and Gavyn. Preceded in death by his previous wife, Delores Coppola, and parents, Roland Coppola, Sr. and Nola Landry Coppola. Pallbearers will include, Don Coppola, Jr., Chad Coppola, Calvin T. Guidry, Tommy Bowles, Ronnie Juneau and Kerry Bullion. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Austin, Mark, Bryan and Chase. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 5 pm until 8 pm and will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 10 am until funeral service at 12 noon. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Special thanks to Dr. Bryan Bienvenu, nurse Jennifer and all of the staff at the Mary Byrd Perkins Cancer Center.
